Control Engineer

Control Engineer Opportunity | Utility / Automation / SCADA

We’re looking for an experienced Control Engineer to support the design, development, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex control and automation systems. This role is a strong fit for someone with a background in electric utilities, solution architecture, and real-time grid management
, with hands-on experience in SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, PLCs, RTUs, and HMI systems
.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the electric utilities sector.
• 5+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Strong experience with real-time grid management systems.
• Proficiency with vendor platforms such as Aspen Tech, Siemens Spectrum Power, ABB MicroSCADA, GE Grid Solutions, Schneider Electric Eco Struxure, OSIsoft PI, Honeywell SCADA, Oracle Utilities NMS, Eaton CYME, PcVue, Inductive Ignition, or similar.
• A collaborative mindset, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing engineering documents, control system layouts, and specifications.
• Programming and troubleshooting PLCs, RTUs, and HMI systems.
• Leading testing, commissioning, and deployment efforts.
• Supporting maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for existing systems.
• Assisting with estimates, site surveys, and technical coordination as needed.

Preferred education includes a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field.
