Mechanical System and HVAC Controls Project Manager
Location
:
Bowie, MD; hybrid
- Serve as a technical authority on HVAC mechanical systems and provide support and troubleshooting throughout all phases.
- Supervise mechanical operations teams and field personnel, assigning responsibilities and ensuring adherence to scope and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering status updates, technical reviews, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting and compliance and maintain accurate documentation including milestones and cost forecasts.
- Review proposals to determine timelines, budgets, and resource allocation and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Investigate and resolve technical or customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and secure project sign‑off.
- Assist with subcontract agreements and ensure proper documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (PE license preferred).
- 2 years of experience managing mechanical HVAC projects.
- 7+ years of HVAC project management experience (preferred).
- Expertise in hydronic and airside systems, including chillers, boilers, and air handling units.
- Strong understanding of HVAC industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

Salary
:
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from 96,200.00 to USD in Maryland, plus an incentive plan. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
