Qualifications- Education:
BS/MS degree in Structural or Civil Engineering - Certification:
Professional Engineer license (PE) required - Experience:
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with 7+ years of structural design experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with 12+ years of structural design experience in bridges, buildings, tunnels, and other associated structures - Interpersonal
Skills:
Exceptional ability to communicate and work in a team‑oriented environment and engage with the client, architects and contractors - Leadership:
Experience in leading design projects in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting, mentoring and training
- Innovative Design using RISA‑3D, Revit, Microstation, or AutoCAD software
- Plan Development:
Perform structural analysis and develop design plans, focusing on concrete and steel - Team Coordination:
Act as a project manager between design teams and other disciplines, ensuring smooth coordination on design and deliverables - Cost and Planning:
Assist in the development of calculations for concrete and structural steel, cost estimates, specifications, and comprehensive reports to steer projects toward success - Client Interaction:
Work closely with clients and a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure projects meet and exceed expectations
