Senior Environmental Engineer​/Scientist

Responsibilities

• Environmental due diligence including performance of Phase I ESAs and limited environmental compliance reviews
• Technical research, review, and management of documents and data
• Fieldwork such as soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, drilling, and contractor oversight
• Data compilation, review, and analysis
• Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to project or office sites as needed

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology (required)
• At least 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of federal and state-specific regulatory drivers related to environmental assessment and remediation (required)
• Prior experience in environmental consulting (valuable)
• Experience in environmental site assessment, environmental permitting/compliance (preferred)
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD and/or GIS (preferred)
• Excellent writing and communication skills (required)
• Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing (required)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
