Join our team as a Fire Safety Inspector, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our facilities and personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting thorough inspections of fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and emergency exits to ensure they are fully operational and comply with regulatory standards.
* Performing health and safety inspections following the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 1500.
* Executing daily preventative maintenance checks on firefighting tools and equipment, promptly reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to your supervisor.
* Evaluating the agency's adherence to laws, regulations, policies, and requirements related to fire prevention and protection programs.
* Providing expert advice on safety and health directives to uphold the safety of both personnel and facilities.
