An established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead HVAC and mechanical system design for a diverse portfolio of commercial projects while mentoring junior engineers and working directly with clients.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design of mechanical building systems from concept through construction.
- Prepare engineering calculations, equipment selections, and construction documents.
- Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review drawings for quality, code compliance, and constructability.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and engineering resources.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical leadership.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems.
- Proficiency with Revit and mechanical engineering design software.
- Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
