Current iQ is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer – Client Solutions to lead the technical delivery and engineering oversight of InSite deployments across client environments.

This role sits is a key contributor to the delivery of value to Current IQ’s customers through our building systems optimization and energy efficiency solutions. The individual will oversee engineering work related to onboarding buildings and portfolios onto the Current IQ platform, ensuring successful data integration, system connectivity, and performance analytics.

The Senior Energy Engineer will serve as the technical leader responsible for client-facing engineering execution, managing technical teams, leading building systems optimization projects, and ensuring the Current IQ platform delivers measurable value to clients.

This individual will possess engineering and analytical skills that will enable them to interpret and evaluate data from various sources within a building, and to integrate the intelligence derived from these data sources with information gathered during engineering field work. These efforts generate opportunities for operational improvement and validate that implemented efficiency measures are generating long-term value. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organization skills with an interest in a wide range of areas including energy management, sustainability, energy & resource analytics, smart building technologies, building controls systems and systems optimization.

• Lead the engineering delivery of Current IQ implementations across healthcare systems, commercial real estate portfolios, and infrastructure clients.
• Oversee the technical onboarding of buildings and portfolios onto the Current IQ platform.
• Ensure successful integration of building systems, operational data, and enterprise platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader for internal and external teams in efforts related to energy consumption and building performance optimization
• Leverage optimization technologies including fault detection and diagnostics software and AI tools to develop prescriptive optimization roadmaps for clients
• Guide engineering teams responsible for deployment, data ingestion, and system connectivity.

• Serve as the senior technical point of contact for client engineering and facilities teams.
• Translate complex infrastructure environments into data-driven digital models within the InSite platform.
• Support executive and operational stakeholders in understanding how Current IQ enables better infrastructure performance.
• Lead energy engineering field work such as energy audits, measurement and verification of energy efficiency measures and other engineering tasks

• Manage and mentor engineers responsible for implementation, data integration, and platform deployment.
• Establish best practices for deployment architecture, documentation, and system configuration.
• Build processes that enable scalable and repeatable platform implementations.

• Partner with product leadership to inform future platform capabilities based on client deployment experience.
• Provide feedback on data models, AI capabilities, and analytics features needed to support operational decision-making.
• Help align engineering execution with InSite’s long-term platform roadmap.
