Network Security Engineer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support a federal program focused on national security, counter terrorism, and secure IT infrastructure operations. This position is 100% onsite in Washington, DC . The Network Security Engineer will design, deploy, maintain, and enhance secure enterprise network and security solutions supporting mission-critical operations. Responsibilities for the Network Security Engineer include:
* Deploy, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments, including licensing and configuration management.
* Support Cisco Firepower platforms through installation, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing operational support.
* Lead and execute Cisco ASA to Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) migration initiatives.
* Design, implement, and maintain secure remote connectivity solutions utilizing DMVPN and Juniper ADVPN technologies.
* Support network access control initiatives, including Cisco 802.1X deployment, and maintain routing infrastructure utilizing OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP protocols.

Required Qualifications for the Network Security Engineer include:
* 10+ years of professional experience in network engineering and network security environments.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA to FTD migrations, Cisco 802.1X deployments, DMVPN, and Juniper ADVPN.
* Strong understanding and working knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols.
* Bachelor's degree
* Active Top Secret Security Clearance Compensation for the Network Security Engineer include:
* Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
