The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all automation solutions.
• Conduct training for production and maintenance personnel on new automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and industrial control software.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI development and integration.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, vision systems, and data acquisition.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis platforms (e.g., Ignition, Splunk, Tableau) for OEE and process optimization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS).
• PLC programming proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Ladder, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
• Experience with robotic programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, Universal Robots).
