Senior Test and Evaluation (T&E) Test Design
At JRC, we tackle some of the toughest challenges faced by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies. Our expertise in engineering innovation and semiconductor technologies allows us to deliver mission-critical microelectronics solutions, aerospace systems engineering, and cutting‑edge research and development. By joining JRC, you’ll be part of a team that supports strategic deterrence and defense missions, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the United States and its allies.
The JRC team is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Test and Evaluation Test Design to support the Navy SSP customer in a fast‑paced new Acquisition development program for the Nuclear Sea‑Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM‑N) program. The successful candidate is a highly specialized engineer focused on the design and evaluation of strategic naval weapon systems, demanding a deep understanding of complex systems and high‑stakes safety protocols for T&E Test Design, Modeling, Ground Test, Fire Control, Nuclear Surety, in support to Navy Strategic Systems Programs.
Most importantly commitment to the critical SSP mission, exhibiting unwavering accountability and driving tasks to completion. They must be proactive team players who excel in collaborative environments, fostering open communication and mutual support. Simultaneously, the ideal candidate demonstrates strong initiative, capable of leading tasks independently while consistently delivering high‑quality, reliable results. Ultimately, success hinges on a blend of mission urgency, collaborative spirit, and independent leadership.
WhatYou’ll Do
Test Planning & Design with the ability to develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports for T&E. Provide expertise in creating detailed test plans that translate operational requirements into measurable test objectives. Ability to use simulations to predict system performance, reliability, and effectiveness under various conditions. Conduct Ground & Fire Control Test Component/Subsystem Testing on individual components and subsystems to verify technical specifications.
