Duties
- You will participate in the design, development and testing of new Electronic Attack (EA) techniques and systems.
- You will design and analyze EW systems, including items such as wide band and ultra-wideband receivers, transmitters, antennas, and systems.
- You will design, operate, and analyze hardware-in-the-loop simulations of EW systems in anechoic chambers, laboratory, and open-air setup in the fields.
- You will participate in the laboratory and field testing of EW systems and components to include experiments with both hardware and software.
- You will oversee the documentation and presentation of the results of research conducted in the Section, including both formal presentations and written reports.

This position requires experience in the design, development, integration or testing of complex RF systems, subsystem or components.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NP-02 pay band (GS-5/10 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Utilizing thorough knowledge of fundamental RF concepts, electromagnetic theory, antenna theory, signal processing, receiver design, transmitter design, and RF circuit design;
2) Utilizing knowledge of test and measurement of RF systems using equipment such as vector analyzer, signal analyzers and signal generators;
3) Demonstrated ability to program in languages such as C, C++, or Python 4;
4) Communicating effectively in writing and orally.
