The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring for a Systems Engineer in the Washington Navy Yard. Responsibilities The Systems Engineer will provide technical and programmatic systems engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP. The Systems Engineer will provide support to the Support Equipment government team within Missile Branch, particularly with safety documentation.
The Systems Engineer will track the status of support equipment safety documentation, review and comment on the documentation, route throughout Missile Branch leadership for approval, and assist with closing out comments. The Systems Engineer will also work with Missile Branch representatives to evaluate issues pertaining to support equipment requirements, schedules, and programmatics. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Ability to work full-time at the Washington Navy Yard.
* U.S. citizen with DoD SECRET clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance while employed with SPA.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical field.
* 3+ professional experience in an technical position.
* Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.
* Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills. Desired

* Experience supporting Strategic Systems Programs.
