Electronics Engineer
As an Electronics Engineer, you will perform the following duties:
- Reviews electronics circuit elements, equipment and subsystems that encompass a wide assortment of electronics material. Develops electronics circuit elements. Analyzes wireless communications systems.
- Inspects newly installed or modified equipment and systems for conformance to performance requirements.
- Evaluates adequacy of maintenance programs, training equipment and materials, operating manuals and repair procedures. Resolves equipment failure or unsatisfactory performance problems. Revises checkout and inspection procedures. Certifies completion of installations.
This job opportunity announcement may be used to fill other Electronics Engineer GS-0855-11, FPL 14 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
