Construction Engineering Specialist
You will assist the ROICC Leadership in the reviews and approval of the ROICC position concerning contractor entitlement for change through interpretation of formal contract clauses and the technical requirements of plans and specifications.
You will manage programs and projects in the product line in a timely manner and accomplish objectives within resource constraints.
You will chair or serves as part of the Technical Evaluation Team (TET) supporting the acquisition process.
You will support the construction after the construction contracts are awarded.
You will be a specialist in the field of construction engineering, serving as a point of contact for coordination of all assigned construction projects at DoD activities, under the cognizance of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command.
You will resolve complaints from individual employees, resolves group grievances, investigates serious complaints and involves HRO as necessary to ensure timely and effective conflict resolution.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
You will be required to have a current PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING (PE) or ARCHITECT (RA) registration from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
Functional Area
and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
