Job Title
Lead System Security Engineer for Submarine Launched Cruise Missile
- Nuclear (SLCM-N) and Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Programs
Duties:
- Lead and manage the execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for non-enterprise systems in support of the SLCM-N and CPS programs.
- Provide leadership to cross-discipline System Security Engineering (SSE) teams to integrate SSE concepts and practices into Systems Engineering (SE) on policy and process integration, and coordination of SE Technical Reviews (SETR)
- Coordinate SSE technical support across the command to ensure implementation of appropriate system security policies and other system-level SSE requirements
- Review and analyze required security documentation generated by Technical Branches to achieve and maintain assessment and authorization of all command systems.
- Interface with all branches and external entities on application of SSE principles to the life-cycle of weapon and weapon support systems.
Requirements Conditions of employment:

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
Functional Area
and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames - Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Performed risk assessments, applying information technology security principles and methods on weapons systems or similar security systems.
- Utilized Cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools to mitigate threats and provide solutions in support of Nuclear weapons surety or similar program.
