Fire Control Design And Development Program Lead

Duties

You will foster a cohesive team and build broad coalitions across Strategic Systems Programs stakeholders, system users, and industry partners to align priorities and streamline the execution of modernization initiatives.

You will lead the engineering, design, and development of major hardware and software updates to the Fire Control System (FCS) to ensure next-generation lethality, interoperability, and system safety standards.

You will oversee the integration, testing, and delivery of major FCS updates to operational platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to active units and high mission readiness.

You will construct, defend, and manage multi-year program budgets to justify resource requirements before senior leadership and secure funding for critical capabilities.

You will develop and execute comprehensive contracting strategies and support formal contract awards in accordance with DoD acquisition regulations to deliver high-quality system updates on time.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts spanning engineering, logistics, finance, and contracting to ensure all program milestones are met in alignment with overall program requirements.
