Job OverviewA law firm seeks a patent agent with a degree in electrical engineering to join their Washington, D.C. office. The role involves working with a diverse client base, including Fortune 100 companies, startups, universities, and government research institutions.
Duties- Draft and prosecute patent applications globally in the electrical arts.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver practical solutions and outstanding service.
- Manage high volume patent activity with technical expertise and responsiveness.
- Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- 2-10 years of relevant experience in patent law.
- Ability to work in a flexible, remote, or hybrid arrangement.
- Degree in electrical engineering.
- Registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial environment.
