OverviewA leading building automation and controls contractor in the Washington, DC market is seeking an experienced BAS Programmer to support the delivery of commercial HVAC controls projects. This role focuses on programming, configuring, and commissioning DDC systems while working closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure systems perform as designed from startup through turnover.
What You'll Be Doing- Program, configure, test, and commission DDC/BAS systems for commercial buildings
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and modify control logic, sequences, and databases across multiple platforms
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and optimization during startup and commissioning
- Support network setup, workstation configuration, and system integrations as needed
- Troubleshoot communication, database, and software-related issues in the field
- Work independently on assigned projects while contributing to team-based initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara N4 (certifications preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with Johnson Controls CCT
- Strong background delivering software and commissioning for commercial BAS projects
- Ability to program systems ranging from straightforward to highly complex
- Experience with BACnet, Lon Works, and Modbus integrations
- Comfortable working across multiple BAS platforms and manufacturers
- Solid understanding of IP networking and BAS system architecture
Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
