Program Director – Power Delivery Solutions

Manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s)
Engage technical teams, review team progress, evaluate team effectiveness, and work through engineering and section managers to maximize program outcomes
Review program scope for contract and technical requirements and identify opportunities to deliver additional client value
Evaluate project and program schedule performance and improve schedule adherence through oversight and communication
Assess cost performance and drive cost-saving measures across the program
Continuously assess deliverable quality and develop processes and tools to improve service quality
Evaluate team technical skillsets and provide targeted training and technical skill building
Collaborate with Section Managers on engineering delivery, resource management, and performance assessment
Escalate performance issues, identify service gaps, and develop remedies
Partner with the Project Management Organization to optimize program management and conduct issue management and deep-dive investigations
Develop financial forecasts for program revenue and operating income
Work with the Business Development Manager/Account Manager on larger client management initiatives
Support the Vice President of Transmission and Substation on assigned special projects

• BS in Engineering with ten (10)+ years of experience in electric utility engineering
• Functional understanding of principles and practices of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent team building and collaboration skills

Demonstrates expertise in managing engineering and professional services within the electric utility sector, focusing on program delivery, cost performance, and team development. Proficient in evaluating technical skillsets and enhancing service quality through effective collaboration and communication.
