Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician to fill a direct support position. This person will perform research and development covering a range of technical areas that support the development of next-generation, Electronic Warfare (EW) related technologies and the design and development of prototypes of EW systems designed to protect surface ships, especially against attack by anti-ship missiles.
This position will provide candidates experience within cutting edge Electronic Warfare systems development environment.

Job Requirements Minimum Skills/
Qualifications: - Have 2 - 5 years of experience in the field of electronics operation, troubleshooting and repair.
- In-depth knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF), radar, basic electronics, and circuits.
- Developing, programming, installing, testing, optimizing and troubleshooting electronic systems.
- Conduct laboratory and field-testing.
- Ability to create and interpret analog, digital, and RF schematic and assembly drawings using commercial CAD software.
- Ability to operate and program common Test Instrumentation including DMMs, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Thermal Chambers, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and other RF Equipment.
- Well versed in analog, digital and RF Electronics Assembly Techniques (coaxial cable, waveguide, surface mount soldering and rework, miniature mechanical assembly), and hardware installation, repair, test and alignment.
- Experience using all common hand and cable crimp tools and drill press.
- Experienced in the design and construction of electromechanical Test Fixtures to include custom circuit cards and rack mount assemblies.
- Demonstrated experience writing Test Documents and Procedures.
- Experience collecting and analyzing Test Data.
- Familiarity with Lab View graphical programming language.
- Must possess intermediate skills using Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) business software.
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principles desirable.
- Time is split between two locations. Approximate split:
Chesapeake Beach, MD 90% / Washington D.C. area 10% . (Alternate schedule with 3 days in D.C. / 2 days in Chesapeake Beach may be possible for the right candidate.) TRAVEL:
