We're looking for a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers across industrial water treatment and process applications. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, system optimization, and customer relationship management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while directly impacting customer success.
You'll work closely with customers to maximize system performance, improve operational reliability, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Beyond technical expertise, you'll play a key role in building long-term partnerships and supporting business growth through exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary technical resource for customers, providing recommendations to improve water treatment system performance and efficiency.
- Support the startup, commissioning, calibration, and ongoing optimization of treatment programs and monitoring technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving chemical feed equipment, pumps, piping, dosing systems, storage tanks, and related infrastructure.
- Conduct routine site visits, system assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.
- Partner closely with account managers to strengthen customer relationships and support retention efforts.
- Deliver technical training and operational guidance to customer personnel.
- Identify potential expansion opportunities and collaborate with commercial teams to develop new business.
- Maintain detailed service records, site reports, and performance documentation.
- Manage on-site inventories, consumables, and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.
- Contribute to service excellence by consistently meeting operational, safety, and customer satisfaction goals.
- 5+ years of experience within industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, chemical treatment, or related process industries.
- Strong field service, maintenance, operations, or technical support background.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and optimizing treatment programs and equipment.
- Strong understanding of cooling water, boiler water, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Experience with chemical feed equipment, automated monitoring systems, controllers, and diagnostic technologies.
- Ability to interpret system data and develop practical recommendations for improving performance and reliability.
