Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice-President, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance is a member of DC Water's Senior Executive Team (SET) and is the organization’s key leader in ensuring the financial sustainability of DC Water and its overall strategic vision. The role is responsible for strategic planning, management, and control of all finance, procurement, and contract compliance-related activities at DC Water, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
This includes direct responsibility for accounting operations, financial governance, contract compliance, financial planning, payroll, and accounts payable, overall financial planning and forecasting, rate setting, budget alignment, risk management, asset management, treasury and debt management, and strategic procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience:
10-15 years of progressive experience related to managing and controlling an agency’s financial management system, inclusive of senior management experience.
