Position: Senior Program Analyst/Task Lead (Business Financial Management)

Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Senior Program Analyst/Task Lead with a concentration on Business Financial Management who wants to join our team. We are a mid‑size defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Program Analyst ready to join a fast‑paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.

Responsibilities
  • Function as the Task Lead for the Business Financial Management (BFM) support team, providing oversight of products and tasking of financial support personnel primarily at the Navy Program Office at the Washington Navy Yard.
  • Supervise contract personnel (R&P and Subcontract Team) within the BFM and Cost Estimating task areas.
  • Support government execution and compliance of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) cycles.
  • Support Financial Management Reviews, Execution Reviews, Comptroller data requests and initiatives, Audit Readiness and Compliance, and other similar data calls, to oversee compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements, using current software or web enabled processes to complete the reporting.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree with over 15 years of professional experience leading a complex and high‑value financial team, including 5 years recent DoD/Navy financial management.
  • Experience with DoW/DoN procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process) – Preferred.
  • Certification preferred (not required) Project Management Professional (PMP).
