The Alliance Group is partnering with a non-profit/trade association in DC who's seeking a Controller to oversee the company's financials, accounting functions, and a team of 4 (1 direct - Assistant Controller and 3 indirect - Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant and AP/AR Clerk). The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual and leader who will support the CFO with the Board audit and budget committee.
On site, 3 days/week in metro-accessible, NW, DC 20001.
- Oversee accounting, accounts payable + receivable, cash, financial reporting, consolidations, PAC and funds
- Cash flow forecasting
- Serve as primary POC for auditors and oversee preparation of financial statements and footnotes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Fluency in Sage Intacct
- CPA preferred
- Strong written, verbal, leadership and collaboration skills
