Position: Financial Management Analyst - Navy Undersea Warfare Program Support

Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Management Analyst to provide financial and program management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and assist the Navy in the development, procurement and sustainment of cutting‑edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine's PMS 404 Undersea Weapons Program Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support for key meetings and engagements with government and industry partners.
  • Draft official minutes and financial documents for submission to senior leadership.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for Navy programs and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, Department of War (DoW) policies, and Navy financial management procedures.
  • Assist in financial audits and risk assessments.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Utilize financial management systems to track and report expenditures.
  • General assistance to the government client upon request within the scope of the role.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or commensurate experience).
  • Two years of financial management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively to leadership.
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills, including project plans, proposals, and formal presentations and correspondence.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Education and Experience:
  • Experience supporting the U.S. Navy or active‑duty Navy experience.
  • Experience supporting a program or project team responsible for projects in various stages of development (U.S. federal finance management experience is a significant plus).
  • Experience managing team projects with MS Office 365 or other cloud‑based IT programs.
  • Experience with process mapping and data visualization tools (ex: Power

    BI, Azure, Tableau).
  • Experience with the Navy ERP or DoW financial systems.
Work Location:

Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1‑2 days per week after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2‑4 months).

Travel:

Potential for travel (less than 10%).
