AR Specialist

A DC Government agency is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support financial operations within a dynamic, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing accounts receivable processes in a public or private sector setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare and manage client invoicing
• Create and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations
• Conduct financial research and apply strong analytical skills to resolve discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Fusion or other financial management software, particularly within an Accounts Receivable Module
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Prior experience in a government or large enterprise finance environment a plus
