This elite Affordable Housing and Community Development group ranks among the nation’s best for complex multifamily and affordable housing deals. The team excels at closing innovative, large-scale transactions nationwide using Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, tax‑exempt bonds, LIHTC, HUD subsidies, and mixed‑income structures for leading developers, investors, lenders, and public‑sector clients.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support financing and development of affordable multifamily projects
- Draft and negotiate key transactional documents
- Conduct due diligence, including title, survey, and compliance review
- Assist in structuring deals with agency programs, tax credits, bonds, and HUD
- Collaborate with clients and teams through closing and post‑closing
- 3–5 years in multifamily/commercial real estate finance or related lender/developer experience
- Strong drafting skills and comfort with transactional documents
- Excellent academics, analytical/writing abilities, and client‑team focus
- DC Bar admission or immediate waiver eligibility
- Base salary $225,000–$420,000 based on experience and other factors
- High‑visibility role with significant client exposure
- Growth in a leading affordable housing practice
- Hands‑on work on complex, impactful transactions
