Aalis Management Consulting is seeking an Economist to support economic modeling, credit reform program analysis, and financial projections for initiatives. The Economist will assist in the development and maintenance of economic models used to support federal lending and investment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain economic and financial models supporting credit reform programs.
- Assist in preparing subsidy cost estimates and re-estimates.
- Analyze financial and economic data to support the investment and loan programs.
- Conduct research on economic trends, market conditions, and investment performance.
- Support senior staff in preparing reports for OMB and federal oversight entities.
- Collaborate with statisticians and data analysts to integrate economic data into modeling frameworks.
- Prepare technical documentation and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in economic modeling or financial analysis.
- Knowledge of Federal Credit Reform concepts or federal financial programs
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Experience with statistical or modeling tools such as Python, R, Stata, or Excel.
