Financial Analyst

Overview

VTG is seeking a Mid-Level Financial System Analyst to support the Navy located at the Washington DC, Navy Yard
. Position is 100% onsite.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Mid-Level Financial System Analyst will proactively and re‑actively respond to short- and long-term requests from SEA 21 Leadership, coordinating as necessary with stakeholders, to provide quality on‑time products including communication strategies, briefs, point papers, and analysis.
• Will work on strategic initiatives to assess SEA 21 financial data and metrics, making recommendations on gathering, filing, controlling, and maintaining data for rapid use.
• The scope involves performing moderately complex tasks independently and complex tasks with some guidance and feedback, completing them on time and to a satisfactory standard.

• 5 years of experience in DOD
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or equivalent
• SharePoint knowledge/experience
• MS Suite—specifically PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel
• Proactive and excellent customer service with management experience
• Must maintain an active DoD Secret clearance

• EVM Cert or equivalent DAU Cost Estimating credential

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $75,000 – $100,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
