That’s why we need a finan cia l analyst like you who can navigate the requirements, policies , and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Navy's resources can make the most impact.

As a finan cia l analyst on our team, you’ll create a finan cia l management strategy to help our client succeed. You’ll work with program managers and task leads to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies , you’ll provide analytical support to your client for the development of well-formed requirements.

Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with program managers and task leads. This is your chance to work on high-level naval systems while imparting your finan cia l analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience executing Purchase Requisition s ( PRs ) in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning ( Navy-ERP ) , completing Funds Allocation Request Forms ( FARFs ) in NAVSEA COBRA, or supporting Task Planning Sheets ( TPS ) in the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System ( NEPS )
• Knowledge of Navy appropriations and finan cia l processes, including the Planning, Programming, Budget ing, and Execution ( PPBE ) system and Navy POM process
• Ability to create reports that reflect finan cia l planning and execution
• Ability to identify finan cia l risks early and collaborate across technical teams to develop solutions
• Ability to communicate finan cia l insights effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command Program Management Office
• Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle
• Ability to mentor junior analysts or manage finan cia l work streams
• Certified Defense Finan cia l Manger ( CDFM ) or DAWIA Business FM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
