I. Key QualificationsAdvanced Excel & Financial Analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends related to pricing, revenue, profitability, or overall business performance
Market Intelligence & Strategic Recommendations
- Proven ability to conduct market research and evaluate competitive trends
- Experience translating data into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders
Corporate or Professional Services Background
- Experience with in a professional services organization, legal services environment, or large corporate setting preferred
- Background in financial analysis, pricing strategy, revenue management, consulting, or a similar analytical function
- Collaborate with pricing leadership to evaluate client rates, revenue performance, profitability, realization, and overall financial trends, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing strategies and support key commercial initiatives.
- Analyze client pricing arrangements, billing data, and financial performance to uncover opportunities for improved profitability and revenue outcomes, working closely with internal stakeholders to implement recommendations.
- Contribute to periodic rate reviews and client performance assessments by examining historical data, utilization metrics, industry trends, competitive insights, and financial results to support informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, matter budgets, and financial analyses to support forecasting, alternative fee arrangements, client proposals, and business development efforts.
- Track the effectiveness of pricing strategies and budget performance by monitoring actual results against projections, leveraging insights to enhance future forecasting, pricing decisions, and overall financial performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Approximately 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with legal or professional services financial systems is a plus
