The Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM) is seeking a Director/Senior Director, Policy to join our team. This is an invaluable opportunity to work at a dynamic trade association at the center of some of the most important public policy issues facing our nation. AAM’s team works a hybrid work schedule, spending two to three days a week in our Washington, DC office.
Job SummaryIn collaboration with the SVP, Policy and the Policy team, the Director/Senior Director is responsible for the development of policy positions; engaging as a subject matter expert with policymakers, including state and federal legislators, the Administration, agencies and others; and working closely with member companies, external consultants and constituent groups to support outreach and relationship management of key partners to further AAM’s mission and strategic policy goals.
The role includes identifying, evaluating, and advancing policy priorities through proactive and reactive policy analysis. The Director/Senior Director will represent AAM in external settings as appropriate, serving as a spokesperson and subject matter expert on policy issues.
Candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of experience in health policy. An advanced degree in public affairs, public policy, or an equivalent is preferred.

AAM offers a competitive salary and benefits package including health, disability, and life insurance as well as 401k match. Salary range: $135,000 - $215,000 plus bonus.
