Position: RECORDS & INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* You will plan, oversee, and train staff to achieve organizational records and information management (RIM) goals and objectives.
* You will ensure enforcement of all applicable statues, regulations, policies, instructions, and standards that govern the RIM program.
* You will track, advise, and provide assistance to senior leadership on significant records management actions affecting The Office of the Inspector General Headquarters or the broader Naval IG Enterprise.
* You will coordinate resolutions of RIM issues and determine what issues must be addressed by leadership.
* You will plan, schedules, and conduct periodic RIM assessments to determine the effectiveness of the program, identifying weaknesses, resolving questions and recommending correction actions.
* You will review contracts, agreements, and any other products for appropriate security and privacy language to ensure individually identifiable information is maintained in compliance with RIM program requirements. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
* Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience with analysis, policy development and providing subject matter expert (SME) advice on all matters relating to the management and oversight of Records and Information Management (RIM) Programs to include administrative records, and official mail, regardless of medium or format.
* Experience performing program management oversight of records management initiatives, interfacing with the Naval Inspector General (IG) Enterprise.
* Experience with strategic analysis, plans, outreach, training, and developing metrics to ensure that sound RIM information governance and accountability measures are in place.
* Experience with Government Purchase Card (GPC) duties.
