Dynamis is seeking a FOIA analyst with at least five years of previous experience with FOIA processing. The analyst would be working for the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Top-Secret with SCI eligibility clearance is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide review of FOIA/PA records (OFAC equities and other outside Federal Agency equities)
  • Provide FOIA/PA review for simple, complex and or fast track FOIA/PA requests
  • Respond to referral/consultation requests from outside federal agencies submitting requests to OFAC/Treasury for review of their records encompassing Treasury equities for referral or consultation and response back to the requesting agency
  • Ability to accurately apply any or all of the 9 FOIA exemptions to records or portions of records deemed non-disclosable to the public
  • Ability to use Adobe Acrobat application in order to apply red actions to non-releasable records
  • Ability to apply, interpret and articulate federal laws and regulations pertaining to FOIA/PA document review & final document disposition
  • In writing, provide final records release determination to the requesting party for all FOIA/PA requests assigned
  • Communicate orally and in writing with employees, management and outside Federal agency entities regarding FOIA/PA related concerns.
  • Send applicable records through the Submitter Notice process in accordance with Federal Regulation 31 CFR § 1.6; if submitter provides objections to release of their business information, assess their objections and provide a final determination to the submitter via Determination Notice communicating Treasury’s final records release decision
  • Maintain complete and detailed case notes on all assigned cases
  • Support necessary FOIA administrative functions; IE: scanning documents; uploading files to the appropriate FOIA database(s)
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts required
  • At least 5 years’ previous experience with FOIA
  • Active TOPSECRET required, with the ability to attain SCI.
  • Ability to apply training, experience, and judgment in executing responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to others
  • Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company’s goals
  • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
  • Strong commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all times
  • Ability to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary
