Job DescriptionAssertive Professionals is seeking a Watch Officer supporting our National Security customer in Washington, D.C. This is a proposed position, and we are offering a $5,000 sign‑on bonus to qualified candidates who sign a Letter of Commitment before 11/9.

Responsibilities- The Intelligence Analyst / Watch Officer will provide 24/7/365 analytical support to the National Security Customer through rotational shift work, ensuring continuous monitoring and assessment of intelligence information to identify and evaluate emerging threats.
- The analyst will review raw and finished intelligence from multiple classified platforms and data sources across the Intelligence Community (IC), the National Security Customer’s Intelligence Enterprise, and state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.
- This position supports a dynamic watch and warning mission by triaging and analyzing intelligence for indicators and warnings, enabling timely decision‑making and operational response.
- The analyst will assist in the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of actionable intelligence that allows senior leadership to anticipate threats, frame emerging situations, and take targeted mitigation actions.
- The analyst will produce written and oral intelligence products, deliver briefings, and conduct analytic exchanges with the National Security Customer, IC, and Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal and Private (FSLTTP) partners to maintain shared situational awareness.
- The analyst will maintain awareness of current and emerging global threat streams, geopolitical developments, and leadership priorities to provide relevant and accurate intelligence support.
- Responsibilities include compiling metrics and feedback for watch operations, maintaining strong coordination and communication skills under pressure, and preparing executive‑level products that clearly and concisely present factual information to inform Cabinet‑level and senior leadership decision‑making.
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Degree from an accredited institution
- 10 years of relevant experience if degree is in an area applicable to the position; 14 years if not applicable
- 15 years of experience overall for senior analysts (implied by the list of required experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice or a related concentration.
