This position is part of the Department of Energy's Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (IN). As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, you will manage all counterintelligence and operational activities within the Investigative Division of the Department.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of the following 3:

Directing, prioritizing, managing and assisting in counterintelligence operations across a geographically disperse organization.

Overseeing, evaluating and responding to field support operations and requests for assistance regarding use of personnel, facilities, technology or information in intelligence operations.

Executing counterintelligence operations, tradecraft, and deconfliction processes across the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC).

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and Ameri Corps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
