Tech Metis a critical minerals investment company whose mission is to help secure Western-aligned supply of the key minerals that will define and power the 21st-century global economy. We currently own controlling or dominant minority positions in 10 criticalmineralsassets across 4 continents. The U.S. Government is a significant shareholder inTechMetthrough a series of equity investments by theU.S.Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
- Report to the Chief Strategic Development Officer whooversees
TechMet’sstrategic priorities and external relations - Coordinate and execute
TechMet’sU.S.and relevant foreigngovernment relations andpublic affairs strategy, in line with
TechMet’smission and strategic objectives - Build,maintain, andstrengthenrelationships with Members of Congress, Executive Branch, and industry stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze proposed legislation, regulatory actions,and domestic and internationalpolicy developments;assess the potential impact on the company, anddevelopappropriate responses
- Provide briefings to U.S.Government stakeholders onTechMet'sactivities and strategic developments
- Partner with Tech Met ’sport folio companies andexternalconsultants to align and advance overallgovernment relations strategy
- Develop and refine messaging for senior leadership, ensuring consistency acrossspeaking engagements, interviews, media reporting, and broader external communications
- Other duties as assigned
- 10+ years of experience workinginor interfacing with
U.S. and Internationalgovernment stakeholders - Bachelor’s degree or higher, preference from master's degree in public policyor related field
- Deep understanding of U.S. critical minerals,defense, andindustrialpolicy, including policies and procedures of executive branchagenciesand Congress
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex policy environments and engage effectively with senior government officials
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and a commitment to contributing to a supportiveteamculture
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Less than 25% oftimewill berequiredfor domestic andinternationaltravel
- Demonstrated experience working with Congress,Executive branch,and current administration officials
- Experience in critical minerals, defense, and/or energy policy
- Established network within relevant federal agencies and on Capitol Hill
