Senior Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst – FOIA Support to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role is critical in managing procurement-related Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and ensuring compliance with federal transparency regulations.

The selected candidate will support the full lifecycle of FOIA responses by reviewing procurement documentation, validating contract data, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and preparing accurate, compliant, and well-organized response packages. This position requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive information in a secure federal environment.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of documented experience as a FOIA Specialist supporting procurement or contracting activities within a Federal Government agency.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience applying:
• Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
• Privacy Act
• Agency-specific procurement and transparency regulations
• Experience reviewing and developing contract files or government documentation in response to FOIA requests.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience resolving complex FOIA or procurement-related issues.
• Experience handling sensitive procurement or law enforcement information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Experience with government contract-writing systems (e.g., PRISM) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
