Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Economist Engagement Lead to support a federal agency. The Senior Economist will lead engagements related to Federal Credit Reform programs, oversee subsidy modeling and re-estimates, and serve as the primary liaison with senior federal stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, economic modeling expertise, and the ability to engage with senior government officials.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage economic analysis engagements supporting federal credit programs.
- Oversee credit reform subsidy modeling and re-estimation processes.
- Serve as primary engagement lead for communication with OMB, GAO, Congressional staff, and senior federal leadership (GS-15/SES).
- Review economic models, financial projections, and program analyses related to the federal agency investments.
- Guide teams of economists, statisticians, and analysts supporting BPA task orders.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA) and OMB guidance.
- Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
- Support independent audit processes and respond to audit inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience with Federal Credit Reform programs.
- Experience managing credit subsidy re-estimates.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with OMB examiners, GAO, or Congressional staff.
- Experience leading engagements of similar scope within federal financial programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
