• Review and update pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee formulary management, develop guidelines, and provide drug‑related education to clinical staff.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to evaluate, direct, and modify pharmacy services and assist in training clinical staff and learners.
• Assist with oversight of other pharmacy team members on the unit when applicable.
• Authorship of academic scholarship, including presentations and attendance at national meetings.
• Help create and execute collaborative practice opportunities at Children’s National.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
  
  D.) required.
• Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience in a pediatric, specialized, academic, or clinical setting; 6 years required for candidates without a PGY‑2 residency.
• Pharmacist eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia plus/minus Maryland and Virginia (specialty dependent).
• Board Certified Pharmacist (BPS) or 1‑year certification required.
