· Work in the community to build and maintain strong relationships with key figures to provide best-in-class healthcare to members.
- Focus on DTM areas, tracking results, program enhancements.
- Improve pharmacy queue management.
- Address care gaps.
- Review PBM policies and procedures for compliance with applicable state requirements.
• Review clinical and financial recommendations provided by clinical pharmacists to determine feasibility and appropriateness for the client, ensuring flawless implementation. Monitor each initiative to measure results.
• Monitor CLIENT pharmacy trends; recommend process, product, and program improvements; plan, implement, and monitor changes.
• Support CLIENT medical management goals by implementing pharmacy-related clinical program initiatives.
• Attend and support all pharmacy-related meetings and committees sponsored by health plans, representing CLIENT and participating on the plan’s P&T Committee.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in the pharmacy sector and evaluate their impact on contracts and services.
• Provide on-site education and training for CLIENT providers on relevant processes and procedures.
• Develop strategies with PBM partners to improve HEDIS ratings and other quality measures.
• Participate in onsite visits to hospital systems, physician groups, and pharmacies.
• Act as the main contact for physicians and plan staff regarding pharmacy program issues.
• Support Fraud and Abuse program oversight, communicate suspected fraud, and recommend actions for providers outside guidelines.
• Provide on-site consultation and education to nurses, case managers, and physicians.
• Coordinate with CLIENT Compliance team on operational and medication management issues identified through oversight.
• Build relationships with behavioral health providers, Perform Care staff, and clients to improve healthcare delivery.

Qualifications• Pharm
D or RPh license appropriate for DC, required.
• 3 to 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a managed care setting.
