Occupational Therapist specializing in Post Acute Care at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Works under direct supervision of Team Coordinator / Clinical Specialist and Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager. Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess occupational limitations and medical condition of patients, prescribes and implements a treatment program designed to return patients to maximum level of function. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to maximize patient and team outcomes.
Promotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care. Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program.
- Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.
- 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience required.
- Experience in Post Acute Care Rehab setting.
- Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program.
Minimum $51.00/hour – Maximum $51.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any further compensation discussion.
