Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound imaging technology to assist in diagnosing and monitoring a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient care by providing high-quality imaging services, supporting physicians with accurate diagnostic information, and ensuring a comfortable experience for every patient.

- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, obstetricians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support clinical decision-making.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a professional, caring demeanor throughout the examination.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
- Document all imaging procedures accurately in patient records, including technical details and observations.
- Assist in specialized areas such as maternal-fetal medicine or obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn) when required, applying your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to optimize imaging quality.
- Keep equipment calibrated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications to ensure consistent performance.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and ultrasound techniques through ongoing education and training.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques across various specialties including obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal imaging, and diagnostic radiology.
- Experience with maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn ultrasound procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to prevent infections.
- Solid understanding of medical imaging principles and the operation of ultrasound equipment.
- Compassionate patient care skills with a focus on creating a reassuring environment for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures.

Pay: $49.00 - $50.00 per hour
