• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, obstetricians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support clinical decision-making.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a professional, caring demeanor throughout the examination.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Document all imaging procedures accurately in patient records, including technical details and observations.
• Assist in specialized areas such as maternal-fetal medicine or obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn) when required, applying your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to optimize imaging quality.
• Keep equipment calibrated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications to ensure consistent performance.
• Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and ultrasound techniques through ongoing education and training.

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
• Proficiency in sonography techniques across various specialties including obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal imaging, and diagnostic radiology.
• Experience with maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn ultrasound procedures is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Ability to maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to prevent infections.
• Solid understanding of medical imaging principles and the operation of ultrasound equipment.
• Compassionate patient care skills with a focus on creating a reassuring environment for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures.

Pay: $49.00 - $50.00 per hour
