A non for profit facility is seeking coverage from a LGSW or LCSW for their crisis mobile unit.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Washington, D.C.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis role is part of an onsite Crisis Mobile Unit providing real-time crisis response for children and adolescents under 19 across community settings such as schools, homes, hospitals, and other locations. The work is crisis-focused and includes assessment, de-escalation, safety planning, and support during acute situations, with approximately half of cases involving suicidal ideation and others related to school-based behavioral issues, trauma exposure, and bullying.
The schedule is five days per week with rotating shifts from 8:00am-4:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm.
