Job Title: CT Technologist (Day Shift – Travel Contract)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia

  12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Every Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:30 PM (two 16-hour shifts)

The CT Technologist is responsible for operating all CT scanners in the main Imaging Department to perform diagnostic examinations per physician orders. This role requires strong technical skills, patient care excellence, and the ability to safely administer contrast and medications while delivering high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders
• Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Start IV lines and administer contrast media and medications as required
• Verify patient identity and exam orders prior to procedures
• Monitor patients during scans and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Ensure radiation safety practices are followed at all times
• Evaluate images for quality and repeat scans as necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of CT rooms and equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow

• Active ARRT registration (Radiography/CT)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Current CPR/CT certification
• Ability to start IVs and administer contrast media
• High School Diploma, GED, or college-level education
