Description:

This position requires working 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week.
The patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant individuals at 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage procedures, and those with triage issues.
The activities on the unit include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section).
Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and Cerner and Fetalink documentation.
On-call duty is required for one shift per week.
