Experience:

Must have state nursing license in hand before the start date. Pending license accepted for submission.

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have:
Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Must have previous travel assignment experience.
Weekend coverage is required, with every other weekend expected.
Candidates must be willing to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Description:

This RN will care for admitted patients with varying diagnoses while they are boarding in the emergency department awaiting bed placement on an inpatient unit.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.

Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and feeding tube care is required.
Knowledge of hemodialysis management is essential.
Basic nursing skills such as starting IVs, administering medications, and isolation precautions are required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for working within an interdisciplinary support team.
Candidates must be adaptable to different patient diagnoses and acuity levels.
All travelers must be able and willing to accept assignments that include COVID-19 patients.
