Join our Pediatric Social Work team as Social Work Manager—a leadership role with impact, influence, and heart.
What you’ll do- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary social work team, providing clinical and administrative supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Elevate care coordination across Case Management, Utilization Management and clinical teams to drive timely, patient‑centered transitions and shorten length‑of‑stay for complex pediatric patients.
- Shape programs and policy: partner with the Director on strategy, staffing, budgeting, performance metrics, and quality improvement initiatives across the Medical Center and JHHS network.
- Build bridges with community partners, academic programs, and internal committees to standardize best practices, support research/education, and advance population health.
- Provide direct clinical services as needed and support training/supervision of students and volunteers.
You’ll combine expert clinical practice with operational leadership to transform pediatric patient outcomes — influencing system‑level change while mentoring the next generation of social workers.
What we’re looking for- MSW and LCSW‑C (required) with Board‑Approved Clinical Supervisor credential (MD).
- 5–7+ years post‑master’s experience (including at least 2 years in healthcare) with strong clinical, programmatic, and supervisory expertise.
- Exceptional clinical judgment, change‑management ability, and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and data‑driven quality improvement.
- Preferred: specialty certifications (OSW‑C, ACM‑SW, APSWH‑C).
- Meaningful pediatric focus — make a difference for children and families every day.

Minimum $45.65/hour - Maximum $79.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
