As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assist patients who are having trouble breathing due to conditions such as asthma, emphysema, chronic respiratory disease, or emergency trauma. You will perform diagnostic tests and collaborate with the care team to create a treatment plan. RTs must have extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders.
