Certifications:

BLS required; ACLS preferred

Must-Have:
- Knowledge of aseptic technique

- Experience with case cart and scrubbing
- Experience in cardiac and vascular surgical cases

Description:

The majority of the shifts are day shifts.

Up to two weeks of the six-week schedule could be evening shifts.

On-call requirement: 6 calls per 6-week schedule.

Weekend shift requirement: 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday per 6-week schedule.

If there are no cardiac surgeries, the technician may float to general surgery.

BLS certification is required.

A minimum of two years of experience is required, including comprehension of aseptic technique, case cart management, and scrubbing.

Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical cases is essential.

Preferred skills include familiarity with crash cart and XI Robotics.

Experience with a variety of surgical cases is preferred, including but not limited to general, orthopedics, urology, thoracic, and bariatric surgeries.

The facility complies with vaccination policies, and employees must receive the flu vaccine.
